STRONG BUY (0)
BUY (0)
Picked based on technicals. Each card's tier pill describes the kind of company, not the strength of the signal.
STRONG BUY = reclaiming key moving averages.
BUY = retesting key levels.
HOW IT WORKS
Every scan pulls the last year of daily bars for each stock in the universe and computes the
20-day, 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages (SMA).
Signals are pure price-vs-average rules — no black box:
STRONG BUY — the stock closed back above both its 20-day and 50-day
averages after trading below at least one of them at some point in the last 10 sessions.
Reclaiming the averages = buyers stepping back in.
BUY — the stock pulled back to a still-rising 20-day (or 50-day) average —
the recent low came within 2% of the average — and is holding above it into the close.
Retesting the level = the uptrend defending itself.
READING A CARD
Every signal renders as a full trade card, not a chip. All values are computed from the fetched daily bars:
SCORE (0–100) — transparent, rule-based: 30 for a STRONG BUY base (20 for BUY);
+20 if the trend is aligned (50-day above a rising 200-day); +15 scaled by relative volume
(2× volume earns full points); +15 if the close sits 0–8% above the key average (not extended);
+10 if the 14-day ATR sits between 3% and 8% of price; +10 if 20-day average dollar volume
is $500M+. Capped at 100.
HARD STOP-LOSS — entry minus 2× the 14-day ATR (Wilder). A mechanical exit level, not advice.
INVALIDATION LEVEL — 1% under the key moving average behind the signal.
A close below it breaks the setup's logic.
POSITION SIZE — shares for a $10,000 account risking 1% ($100) against the hard stop.
NEW — the ticker is signaling today after signaling nothing — or only a weaker
signal — in the previous scan.
STAGE 2A — 50-day above a rising 200-day, both averages rising, price above the
50-day: a confirmed uptrend. 2B — price above the 200-day but the full alignment
isn't there yet.
TIER GROUPINGS
Tiers describe the kind of company, not the strength of the signal. Every signal carries its tier badge:
COMPOUNDER — steady growers with durable business models
3-STAR — high-growth, higher-volatility names
2-STAR — speculative / smaller names in the universe
DATA
Daily OHLC data: Yahoo Finance's public chart API, fetched live at scan time —
first through this site's own candlecobra-bars Cloudflare Worker proxy
(same Yahoo chart API underneath, no CORS issues), falling back to public CORS relays
if needed. Signals use the most recent daily bar.
Stocks with fewer than 215 daily bars — or that fail to load after retries — are skipped and reported,
never guessed.
